A vacancy has become available working within our busy sales team for a Sales Administrator. We’re looking for someone who is excited about being part of a demanding but successful and rewarding team environment. Although previous administration experience is essential, this does not have to be gained in a sales environment.
You will need a confident and assertive personality as well as a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft packages particularly Excel, Power Point, and Word. You will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with different levels of employees throughout the business. With a keen eye for detail, you will be willing to act on your own initiative but able to adhere to strict deadlines and display a high level of accuracy.
Key Activities
- Providing regular reports to management including revenue pipeline reporting and campaign management
- Organising sales events
- Proposal management
- Interfacing with Data, Finance and Marketing Departments
- Administrating the induction of new sales employees
- Planning internal sales meetings and presentations
- Planning and organising internal product & sales training
- Metric management
- Compiling sales support documentation
- Maintaining the departmental support information on the internal
- Diary management for Sales Management/Commercial Director
- Diary and email management
- Maintaining all sales departmental information
- Expense Management.
Essential Skills
- Organised and methodical
- The ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy with great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft packages, more specifically; Excel, Power Point and Word
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Must have a responsible and professional approach to work
- Administrative experience.
