Andy Morris is Head of Best Place to Bank & Quality, a role that has evolved significantly since his appointment in September 2005.

He is based in London and has responsibility for Customer Relations, the Bank's complaint management and reduction programmes and the 6 Sigma deployment programme. In late 2006 he assumed responsibility for the Bank's "Treating Customers Fairly" activities which are now being delivered through the Best Place to Bank strategy and delivery programme encompassing first direct, M&S Money and HFC in addition to the main Bank.

Andy has worked for the Bank since 1982, originally in the branch network and subsequently undertaking a number of roles within strategic development, Operations, Cards and major projects. These have included the implementation of Chip card technology and the in-sourcing of card processing from First Data Europe.
