Jeanne Balcom,

Jeanne Balcom is a Senior Director in FINRA's International Department and has over twenty years' experience in the regulation and supervision of capital markets and other financial institutions. She has worked in over 30 countries worldwide, advising regulatory authorities in numerous countries. Her most recent projects include assisting the Securities Regulator in Brazil, the CVM, to strengthen its enforcement capability and assisting the Chilean Regulator, the SVS, to design and implement a risk-based supervision program. In addition, she holds a Masters Degree in Latin American Studies and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Russian Studies from Dartmouth College.
