FAQ
Dear Compliance Professional,
We are delighted to present our 4th Annual Compliance Awards. This year we promise some extra attractions to celebrate our tenth anniversary and the decade we have spent working alongside compliance practitioners all over the globe.
Already established as a major event in the compliance year, the 2008 Awards will be held at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London on Thursday, 17 January 2008.
The 2007 Awards were a huge success. More than 300 industry luminaries saw the Financial Services Authority's David Kenmir run through the nominees and reveal the ten category winners in his last year as our stalwart master of ceremonies. Although a hard act to follow, David is replaced this year by the FSA's Dan Waters, whom we welcome as our MC for 2008.
The categories remain broadly the same for 2008, but we have some new awards to reflect our tenth anniversary and the global nature of the industry. The main features will be the awards for Compliance Officer of the Year, MLRO of the Year, Young Compliance Officer of the Year, Compliance Trainer of the Year, and Outstanding Long-Term Service to the Compliance Industry. The lavish dinner and awards ceremony will be supported by witty guest speakers and some lively post-dinner entertainment.
This event would not be possible without the sponsors who so generously support it and the contributions of those in the industry who recommend their colleagues, themselves and service firms for the awards. Nominations are open and we hope that you put forward all of those who deserve special credit for making the UK one of the world's most trusted markets for financial services investment.
For the discerning compliance professional there is no better way to celebrate another eventful year than by attending Complinet's 4th Annual Compliance Awards.
We are very pleased to be hosting this important industry event and hope that we will see you and your colleagues there.
Regards
Alex Viall
