Complinet is delighted to announce the launch of a series of regulation and compliance seminars for the GCC over the next 12 months. These seminars will start at 11.30am and will give delegates, regulators, law firms, consultants and others from the industry a platform to discuss thorny compliance and regulatory issues.
The seminars will create the perfect vehicle for delegates to compare practices and regulatory approaches. Delegates can also discuss current local, regional and international trends that are affecting the compliance community.
Lunch will start at 12.30pm, courtesy of our sponsors, to whom we are very grateful. The seminar will restart at 2pm and finish at 5.30pm. Delegates will receive a certificate of attendance if they wish.
The GCC Regulators' Regulation and Compliance Seminars will first and foremost benefit the region's regulators and banks. The seminars will enable GCC regulators to showcase the basis of their regulatory regimes to local, regional and international banks. Banks will benefit from a deeper understanding of the regulators' challenges and objectives.
The aim is to create a strong community for compliance officers across the GCC and to foster a spirit of cooperation and shared experiences. The seminars will rotate around the various financial centres of the region, starting with Dubai, Qatar and Bahrain. The expectation is that they will spread further a field and deliver valuable support for industry officials grappling with difficult issues.
Complinet is delighted to announce the full support of the regulators, central banks and authorities that have backed this initiative by providing speakers.
