Complinet is hosting the Gulf Cooperation Council Regulators' Summit in Bahrain in February 2008, building on the popularity of last year's inaugural event. The summit emerged as a unique event by attracting high-calibre delegates and placing them face-to-face with the GCC regulators. This year's event will address the hurdles that regulated entities face on a daily basis, as well as providing a platform for the regulators to showcase their regimes and to communicate directly with compliance practitioners. The summit will attract international and regional banks and financial institutions that have recognised the unique opportunity that the Gulf region offers.
