About the GCC Regulators' Summit

Gulf governments have provided a strong stimulus for more accessible regional outlets for equity participation. It is a sign of the maturity of these markets that so many international finance houses are flocking to the region. The high calibre of appointments at the nascent regulators has impressed the senior managers at investment banks and fund managers who decide whether to allocate their resources across the region. It is important for decision makers to have confidence in the transparency of local markets and quality of regulation.

This two-day conference will cover collective investment regulation, banking supervision, counter-money laundering, enforcement, authorisation, wholesale insurance regulation, risk-based supervision, Sharia'h law, training and education. The event will attract regulators and market practitioners interested in the Gulf and provide the ideal opportunity to promote the sound, effective regulation of the region's financial centres.

This is a private, invitation-only conference; it is open only to the guests of Complinet and the conference sponsors. There are limited places available.

Your delegate place includes: refreshments, Bedouin-style gala dinner, presentations from 25 international speakers, case studies from across the world and documentation on CD-ROM and in hardcopy.

The GCC Regulators' Summit will be an interactive conference experience where ideas are exchanged and relationships are strengthened. All of the speakers are industry leaders. The event will create plenty of networking opportunities and delegates will be able to build contacts with potential clients.
