• Hedge Funds and specialist Fund Managers - developed Compliance teams from scratch, recruited Board Level Heads of Compliance and located niche Part Time Compliance professionals (anything from 1-4 days per week) to suit the needs of the client.

• Household name Fund Managers - worked with the majority of Fund Managers, recruiting at all levels from Regional Heads to Managers and Associates - often finding specific experience whether it be functional or sector specific - such as Compliance Manager, to focus on Equity compliance, Head of Monitoring, Head of Advisory, Manager, Fixed Income.

• Investment Banks - provided very specialist expertise and recruited in particular niches for a range of banks of different sizes and with very different cultures. Examples include Head of Equity Derivative compliance, Head of Group Compliance, Head of Anti Money Laundering, VP Fixed Income, AVP Equities.

• Other - worked with Brokers, Regulator and Exchanges to find variety of individuals, roles tending to be relatively generalist. Worked internationally, mainly moving UK based individuals overseas.

• Worked with several Institutions wishing to grow businesses they don't currently have and found Heads of Private Wealth Management, Head of Equities and Head of Mortgages - these roles have required us to find individuals who have the right technical expertise and who are also able to work integrally with the business as it launches into new areas.

Work is largely Search and Selection driven, with clients retaining Woolf & Co to carry out all first round interviews and provide a shortlist of the best candidates in the market. We do maintain a database of candidates and this coupled with our market position can allow us to fill roles on a contingent basis.
