Our product offerings range through conduct of business issues, IT infrastructure, market, credit and operational risks, regulatory reporting and quant assistance.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>The Prudential team offers clients advice or hands on assistance with issues such as ICAAP, FSA model approvals, Pillar 3, legal entity structuring, new or amended authorisations, application of FSA handbook and systems implementation for reporting.</li> <li>The team assists a range of clients from the leading international banks through to new start ups.</li> <li>The team has grown rapidly from a small base in the past 12 months by recruiting individuals primarily with experience gained in the banking industry. Client demand for our services continues to grow and further experienced hires are needed in order to lead our engagements.</li> <li>This is an opportunity to join a growing team that is leading in its market and with a first class client base. There is a history of career advancement in the team.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p>The scale of managerial responsibilities will vary by grade:</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Delivery of projects or documented analysis to clients</li> <li>Contribute to leadership of the Prudential team<br />i.e. marketing to clients, training junior staff</li> <li>Research specific regulatory topics and contribute to industry responses to FSA proposals</li> <li>Where appropriate, members of the team have been seconded to line roles in client organisations</li> <li>Lead teams to deliver client solutions - teams vary according to project needs from 2 up to 15 individuals</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> <br /><strong>Person:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of prudential regulation essential </li> <li>Background of team members typically includes one or more of the following:<br />- work in regulatory reporting within a regulated institution<br />- working at the regulator on prudential matters<br />- some work requires an accountancy qualification<br />- previous consulting experience is not necessary</li> <li>Must be able to work with clients on practical solutions</li> <li> Senior Managers will have management experience</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Types of experience:</strong></p> <p><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">· </span>Suitable candidates may have experience in the following areas<br />- Basel 2<br />- ICAAP<br />- FSA or other leading regulators<br />- VaR model approval<br />- PD, LGD, EAD<br />- Securitisation Rules<br />- Capital planning<br />- Market Risk<br />- Credit Risk</p> <p> </p> <p>Candidates with Market Risk experience are of particular interest.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Suitable candidates should email their CV to danwise@jarvisblake.com or call 01322 611771 to find out more.</p>
