Vice President - Markets Surveillance

Our client is a leading Investment Bank with a strong global presence. Due to expansion they are seeking a Markets Surveillance Officer to join their Compliance team in London. Acting as the conduit between Markets Compliance and IT, key duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows;

*Quickly understand, articulate and document all business problems that arise from daily reporting.
*Ensure documentation is to the necessary standards required by stakeholders to deliver 'right-first-time'
*Ensure documentation provides structured evidence of a good quality control environment.
*Communicate clearly with both the business and technology subject matter experts (SME)
*Document and support the execution of user acceptance testing (UAT) plans for all newly delivered functions.
*Document and execute regression test plans for any surveillance integration work.
*Ensure management are provided with clear, concise and timely management information (MI)
*Ad hoc projects as directed by management.

Ideally you be of graduate calibre and have at least four years compliance experience gained within the investment banking sector. It is also envisaged that you will have experience of working with cross-asset class market data, instrument, employee and client reference data along with exposure to automated surveillance and testing methodologies. It is desirable that you are a strong team player and able to communicate effectively at all levels
