The successful candidate will be switched-on with the ability to stand behind their decisions and perform well in a dynamic and fast paced environment.</p> <p>The incumbent will provide advice & counsel and act as a centre of expertise for privacy and information risk management related issues, including employee matters, to Regional business units in, Capital Markets & Investment and Private Banking. This person will effectively partner with International contacts to build, enhance & implement a coordinated, client-centric approach to Privacy & Information Risk Management in Europe & Asia. This will include:</p> <ul> <li>Ensuring local oversight processes are aligned and consistent with the Enterprise privacy and information risk management strategy</li> <li>Ensure businesses are equipped to meet all business and regulatory requirements and expectations, governing law, and other applicable laws within respective jurisdictions in relation to information privacy and risk management; including safeguarding, confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, traceability, and appropriate use of information and information systems.</li> <li>Provide central point of contact for privacy and information risk management for business units and internal & external auditors</li> <li>Where appropriate, establish and ensure the maintenance of constructive working relationships with regulators overseeing privacy and information risk management within Europe and Asia.</li> <li>Provide support to local Compliance teams to establish and ensure the maintenance of constructive working relationships with regulators overseeing privacy and information risk management.</li> </ul> <p>The successful incumbent will have:</p> <ul> <li>Relevant business experience </li> <li>Knowledge of financial services industry Investment and Private Banking</li> <li>Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements for privacy and information risk management in, Europe & Asia</li> <li>Privacy and information security training/experience an advantage</li> <li>Knowledge of risk management principles </li> </ul> <p>For a more information on this role please call Cat Browne directly on 0207 6147691 or send a CV to cbrowne@jmagill.com.</p> <p> </p>
