Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for Independently executing assigned audit and changing initiative activities. Implementing audit strategy for the sound application of risk based practices. Utilising sound, seasoned, analytical skills and technical expertise to execute assigned responsibilities. Candidates may monitor the work of other associates and/or provide training. 

Specific Audit responsibilities include:

- Review risk assessments.
Execute audit programs to test controls over the key risks in a line of business or across multiple business lines.
- Identify and maintain status of significant audit issues
- Perform continuous monitoring coverage of an assigned line of business / change initiative.
- Document detailed audit work and related information, including work papers and audit reports for assigned areas.

Required skills:

- A minimum of bachelors degree or equivalent with demonstrable experience in Audit, Information Security or Technology Consulting.
Good understanding of investment banking, wealth management or card services technologies with a working knowledge of financial banking products.
- An understanding of regulatory interactions and risk management
- A familiarity with sound project management practices
- Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.

Desired Skills:

- A reasonable understanding of Operating System platforms e.g. UNIX, Windows, Linux; Databases e.g. Sybase, SQL Server, Oracle; or Networks.
