Thereafter to present the advice to the business in an appropriate form. </li> <li>Contribute to the development and maintenance of effective relationships with business units, so that business objectives are met; as well as promoting the reputation of the legal department so that it remains the focal point of the Group for legal issues.</li> <li>Excellent analytical skills coupled with practical problem solving skills </li> <li>Good understanding of Life Assurance, Pensions and other regulated products desired</li> </ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Qualified Solicitor </li> <li>A strong knowledge of Employment law is essential </li> <li>Significant Post qualifying experience </li> <li>Knowledge of FSA rules and guidelines desired </li> <li>Wide knowledge of compliance procedures desired </li> <li>Contribute as required to departmental activities and business projects including both internal and external meetings to enhance operational efficiency.</li> </ul>
