Our client, a global investment bank is seeking to hire an individual to lead the development and management of the regional AML Project Management Office. Establish & manage the processes and systems which support the AML migration objectives, implement common regional standards for project management office with guidance from EMEA & Global AML and partner with technology, compliance, in country AML staff & local business operations to ensure all project deliverables are captured and tracked within the regional PMO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the development & own the EMEA Regional AML PMO:
- o Establish & manage the processes and systems which support the AML migration objectives.
- o Implementation of common regional standards for project management office with guidance from EMEA & Global AML.
- o Partner with technology, compliance, in country AML staff & local business operations to ensure all project deliverables, status and timelines are captured and tracked within the regional PMO.
- o Identify & manage project weaknesses at an individual project level and remedy.
- o Support the delivery of project reporting & weekly progress dashboards (project milestones) to the Programme Manager.
- o Own the configuration management and standardisation of the PMO architecture.
- Facilitation of project reviews to drive delivery of key activities to agreed timelines.
- Implementation of early escalation process where there are issues.
- Manage the delivery of information, communication; monitoring and control activities for the programme.
- Provide assurance & governance across the programmes (e.g. Risk, Business & Stakeholder assurance).
Act as the lead for governance and control, including standards, approvals, financial monitoring, assurance, programme/project health checks.
Knowledge/Experience:
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial services, investment & retail banking products/services - back and middle office operations.
- Understanding of AML technologies & industry best practice.
- Knowledge of Transaction banking, Funds Transfer & payment methodologies
- Proven track record in project management office & project administration
- Proven track record supporting delivery of complex change projects & programmes.
- Project Management/Office tools (e.g. MSProject & Sharepoint)
- Project management qualification (e.g. Prince2, MSP).
Experience of managing shared service progammes would be an advantage
