Leading Investment Bank seeks a Compliance professional to join their Monitoring function.
The main focus of this role will be:
* Performing risk assessments to prioritise areas for review and rolling out compliance review work based on the results of those risk assessments
* Leading review engagements and meeting standards for delivering high quality value added reviews
* Validating compliance against established policies and procedures and applicable regulations
* Identifying emerging risks from the business and assessing the impact on regulatory compliance risk and on the review programme
The ideal applicant will have:
* Strong regulatory compliance, investigation or audit experience gained within a financial services, legal or regulatory environment demonstrating solid understanding of FSA rules
* Strong commercial orientation and lateral thinking with proven ability to assess a diverse ranges of financial service businesses
* Ability to manage regulatory projects
* Willingness to take on a diverse role and to leverage personal experience and skills into new areas
* Undergraduate degree equivalent to UK minimum of 2:1 (postgraduate degree would be highly desirable)
