Our client, a leading financial services group, is looking to recruit an IT Security Risk Consultant. You will be tasked with providing Global and Regional coaching to key stakeholders and extensive consulting on global IT initiatives and projects. Ensuring alignment and compliance within Group IT Risk Framework and IT policies and Standards, duties will include:
• Reviewing critical projects, applications, processes and business areas to ensure adherence to IT Policies & Standards.
• Ensuring security processes particularly Sarbanes-Oxley and COBIT standards are robust.
• Implementing and managing regional and global information security programs, including policies, governance processes, awareness programs, and compliance reviews applying security technologies where appropriate.
• Supporting internal & external audits and compliance initiatives as well as ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance frameworks.
You should hold or be working towards a professional security qualification such as CISM, CISSP or CISA, and have proven experience working in IT operational security from a consultancy or hands-on IT security perspective. While an awareness of regulatory and compliance laws for the financial services sector is required, as important will be your broad understanding of technology and experience with security architectures and strategies and a willingness to travel within the UK & occasionally internationally.
