Compliance Monitoring Associate – Investment Management Experience Required

Our Client, the Asset Management arm of a Global Banking Group, is looking to recruit a self driven and enthusiastic Compliance Monitoring Associate who will take charge of compliance monitoring across all of their business and product lines. Reporting directly to the Senior Compliance Manager duties will include:

• Assisting with the Strategic Planning of all Compliance Monitoring activity on a 12 monthly cycle, covering Institutional & Alternative Asset Management, (including Hedge Funds, Fund of Funds and Property Funds).
• Ensuring you remain abreast of regulatory and business changes, updating the monitoring programmes as appropriate
• Undertaking monitoring reviews to ensure full compliance with the relevant UK and EU regulations.
• Drafting monitoring reports and discussing monitoring findings and outcomes with Senior Compliance Manager
• In conjunction with the Compliance Manager, agreeing recommendations and rectification with business management and following up on all deliverables.

The successful candidate will be of graduate calibre and must either have gained a very minimum of 18 months investment management compliance monitoring experienced preceded by further investment management experience (whether compliance or operations etc). While a good understanding of the FSA rules is required, as important will be your knowledge of asset management systems, products, procedures and controls.
