A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Analyst to join a leading investment management firm on a 6 month contract.

The roll holder will monitor the operation of key controls within the company and ensure all funds under management have both pre and post trade rules set up on the Charles River system.

Responsibilities include assisting in the development and execution of test plans and strategies to assure that key controls are operational and monitoring funds on a daily basis to ensure they are in compliance with the relevant regulations and investment instructions. In addition you will review and test pre and post trade rules for all fixed interest funds, cash funds and equity funds as well as complete training on rule writing and coding on the Charles River system. You will also establish a universal rule for each fund with procedures on how these should be maintained going forward and enhance, develop and maintain a general risk and compliance culture and awareness.

Candidates must have a comprehensive knowledge of a Charles River system as well as experience of identifying risks and appropriate controls within the financial sector. An awareness of UK and overseas investment management regulations and experience in developing and executing test plans which prove key controls are operational are essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure within tight deadlines are crucial.
