Fund Management Prospectus review - Short-term contract (3-5 days p/week; strong possibility of developing longer term consultancy relationship)

This major funds organisation has an immediate need for a contractor to join a project team reviewing the marketing materials of the firm's entire collective investment scheme range.
The role covers -
- Analysis of the full and simplified prospectuses of all group collective investment schemes.
- Studying portfolios.
- Providing recommendations and regulatory opinions as appropriate.
- Co-ordinating with other parties, including accountants and external lawyers and discussing their findings as required.
Candidate -
- Strong funds & collectives background.
- Sufficient (ideally strong) prior compliance marketing / prospectus experience.
- Good written skills and eye for details
- Credible, intelligent individual who can carry the confidence of external parties and business management.
It is unlikely that this contract will last especially long in the first instance (monthly renewing is the most likely basis). However this (large) firm are a consistent hirer of contract staff - and it is likely there will be an occasional but regular need in this particular field (amongst others). For a consultant who performed in this role, there would be a very strong prospect of developing this organisation as a long-term client - indeed this type of relationship is something the client is very warm to and has openly discussed.
