Expanding Investment Manager seeks an experienced Risk manager to join their Compliance and risk team.
The main purpose of the role is to provide risk input into Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) initiatives, including anti-money laundering, fraud and market abuse. As well as to provide strategic risk input into Regulatory Risk activities specifically in relation to front office and sales & marketing initiatives.
The ideal applicant will have:
* A proven track record within an Asset Management environment with some experience at Manager level.
* Good understanding of the asset management industry, and specifically investment products (notably, Equities, Fixed Income, Money Markets and Derivatives).
* An in-depth knowledge of AFC regulations and requirements.
* A detailed understanding of the FSA Handbook.
