Control Group Vice President

Our client, a European Bank in the heart of the City, is recruiting for a mixed role with both general advisory and Research Control Room responsibilities. 


* Take the lead in providing compliance support for all areas of Investment Banking
* Respond to all enquiries arising out of the different units, including advice on/interpretation of compliance policies and procedures and support of the origination Syndicate Desks
* Transactional support, including Capital Markets and M & A, providing compliance advice and implementing applicable policies and procedures
* Update and maintain systems which are used to manage Information Barriers within the business's IBD, Research and Securities Sales & Trading areas including the watch & restricted list
* Monitor adherence to the business's Chinese Walls and Restricted List policies and procedures by Business Units
* Investigate in conjunction with the business and escalate as necessary any exceptions to the Chinese Walls policies and procedures.


Candidates would ideally be of graduate calibre with solid experience from Investment Banking Compliance including a good understanding of regulatory issues and experience dealing with Sales & Trading, Origination or Investment Banking.
