Our Client, a European financial institution, is looking for a Control Room specialist to set up a London based Control Room team. 


* Monitor any potential conflicts to ensure they have been adequately managed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Document and report findings and advise on remedial measures to facilitate effective corrective action where a weakness in controls or non-compliance is identified;
* Assist in providing compliance clearance for research (against Watch and Restricted Lists); relevant and up-to-date disclosures and other appropriate disclaimers regulatory or otherwise.
* Monitor bank and employee trading against Watch and Restricted Lists and manage any potential conflicts arising
* Provide Compliance support & advice for all areas of the Investment Banking Business


The successful candidate should have good compliance experience gained in a control room or general investment banking compliance (monitoring or advisory), and able to work in a close and friendly team environment. This position offers an excellent prospect in terms of career progression, salary reviews and bonuses.
