Our client is a major global investment bank with business areas spanning all equity, debt, investment banking, investment management, and private clients.

An opportunity has arisen on the Client Money and Client Asset review project team. Duties include;

* Review existing business and Group policies and procedures for Client Assets and money adherence
* Challenge business procedures for CASS adherence and capture any gaps
* Producing end to end business process flows using VISIO to assist in the identification of any CASS control gaps and remediation issues
* Risk and control assessment on global operations CASS procedures and controls
* Conducting testing of operational business CASS procedures and control framework
* Risk and control assessment on all Operations owned compliance issues.
* Assisting the PMO in drafting CASS project documentation including PowerPoint presentations and VISIO process flows
* Assist in the drafting of new policies, procedures and setting up governance framework for CASS best practice in operational and business areas
* Provide advice on CASS rules and adherence and best practice in safeguarding client assets to areas of Equities, Fixed Income, Debt Capital Markets, Credit and Fixed Income Derivatives, Foreign Exchange & Commodities, Institutional and Prime Brokerage.
* Maintain business relationships with all levels of management and keep abreast of current developments and business issues that may impact the risk environment of the company.

The successful candidate will be highly-motivated, driven, and have the ability to deliver results in an autonomous capacity. The candidate will possess detailed knowledge of FSA CASS sourcebook and its relevance to investment banking/ a buy side investment bank.
