The client is looking for a genuinely self motivated, confident individual who can undertake occasional international work as part of the role with the main focus being in London. You will get genuine buy-in from the business working in a positive, friendly, highly respected bank.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Execute Compliance Monitoring reviews working either as part of a team or independently. This will include:</p> <ul> <li>analysing relevant regulatory requirements, </li> <li>determining how they apply to the Business under review, </li> <li>developing Compliance Monitoring review programs, </li> <li>testing the adequacy and effectiveness of the control framework, </li> <li>working with the Business/Compliance to ensure that issues have been correctly identified and remediation plans have been agreed, </li> <li>documenting the results in a formal report, </li> <li>preparation of work papers to support the review work performed and the conclusions reached as well as following up on corrective actions to ensure issues have been appropriately addressed.</li> <li>Work with International global network of Compliance Officers and prepare regular updates for progress against Compliance Monitoring plans, reports published, key issues identified and status of corrective actions; </li> <li>Deputise for the Global Head of Compliance Monitoring </li> </ul> <p>Your skills/knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>Initiative, drive and ability to work independently</li> <li>Strong report writing skills</li> <li>Good interpersonal skills</li> <li>Strong Excel and Word skills</li> <li>Audit or Compliance Monitoring experience preferred</li> <li>Experience in Investment Banking preferred, particularly Global Markets and Commodities</li> <li>Experience in management reporting</li> </ul> <p>To apply, please send your CV to Mark Holmes: mark@holmessearch.co.uk.
