This specialist insurance firm seeks a Risk Management Assistant on a six month fixed-term contract. Reporting into the Risk Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the risk team in the development of various projects, paying particular attention to Solvency 2. Other duties will include: data capture from various business lines for the purposes of Solvency 2, assisting the Risk Manager to create, update and maintain the risk management manual, supporting the management of risk assessments and providing input into other requirements of the risk department.

To be considered in this role, you will have a degree in a relevant subject such as Risk Management, Business Studies, Actuarial Science or Law and you will have some previous experience within risk management.

Personality is going to be of optimum importance for this role and candidates must be enthusiastic, pro-active and have a good aptitude for learning. A high standard of written and verbal communication skills are also key for this role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident individual with some exposure to risk management to work closely with the solvency 2 project and gain invaluable experience in this area.
