Conflicts Management and Control Room manager required at this top tier investment bank

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Central Compliance, the job holder will be required to coordinate and train a team of Compliance specialists to assist in coverage for research related matters

Main duties will include:

· Provide research related assistance and support for the other functions of the Conflicts Management and Control team.

· Act as key contact in the Conflicts Management and Control team in relation to managing conflicts of interest in connection with investment research.

· Coordinate training for research analysts and gatekeepers in the European region.

· Coordinate the PA Dealing holdings for analysts on a quarterly basis. Ensure a harmonious approach to PA holdings globally.

· To provide ad hoc support for the other responsibilities of the Conflicts Management and Control team.

· Providing guidance and training to members of the Conflicts Management and Control team on clearing research for publication with regard to identifying and managing any potential conflicts of interest.

Candidate meeting the following requirements are welcomed to apply

• Previous compliance and/or regulatory experience, preferably across a number of different business lines.
• An excellent understanding of the regulatory environment and expectations, FSA rules and guidance together with other relevant regulations
• Ability to support decisions with sound reasoning
