Risk Analyst

A forward thinking, proprietary trading financial services company is seeking an experienced Risk Analyst to assist with the development and implementation of strategies to identify and control market, operational and settlement risks.



Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
·         Measuring and reporting market risk
·         Reporting and following up credit and settlement risk
·         Monitoring limits, policies, stress testing and quantitative systems
·         Surveillance of operations, daily reporting, position changes etc.
·         Assisting with development of processes as desk grows
·         Providing analysis to support risk management function
 
 
Personality plays a large part in this role, being able to work autonomously and integrate in to a modern business ethos.
 
The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of listed equity and fixed income derivatives along with previous exposure to listed commodity derivatives and analytical experience within a financial MIS environment. An overview of ALL risks required.
