My client is currently recruiting for a Compliance Manager to have oversight of there different business units. You will have responsibility for providing assurance to senior management on the Group's regulatory risk profile and compliance with regulatory policies, by undertaking Group-wide assurance activities, such as:
* Regulatory Policy Standard management and risk-based Policy assurance reviews;
* Thematic, targeted review activities in areas of regulatory priority; and
Effective assessment, escalation and remediation of key regulatory issues.
Key Deliverables Include:
· Support the team's ownership and assurance obligations as Policy Owners for regulatory risk policies, and provide advice and guidance to colleagues where relevant.
· Undertake review activity of regulatory policies to ensure consistent Group-wide standards of implementation and compliance.
· Support identification, analysis and evaluation of changes to the Group's regulatory risk profile, proposing and/or undertaking appropriate review and/or facilitation activity to ensure that the changes are properly managed.
· Support Senior Managers in the team in responding to information and analysis provided by other parts of Regulatory Risk and/or other Group control functions, and facilitating the effective management and remediation (where relevant) of material/thematic issues and risks.
· Identifying the pan Group regulatory impact of business issues and regulatory breaches, facilitating effective and sustainable business remediation and reporting of findings to executive management, as appropriate.
· As part of the team, promote best practice in regulatory risk management and reporting across the Group.
· Support the delivery of allocated regulatory risk projects / initiatives for which the Group Head of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance is accountable.
· Support the regulatory analysis of the products and services subjected to the Group New Product Approval Process and analysis of issues raised through the Group Notifiable Event Procedure -identifying regulatory themes and facilitating appropriate remediating actions.
· Providing support, in technical area of expertise, for knowledge transfer and up skilling of colleagues
