		&lt;p&gt;Our Client, a Global Marketing Making Business, is looking for a UK Legal and Compliance Officer on a fixed term contract. Reporting directly to the Regional Head of Legal, duties will include:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;bull; Providing regulatory and legal advice to all levels of the company and handling day-to-day queries across the business&lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull; Developing policies and procedures that enable the business to comply with FSA and Exchange rules and other applicable laws&lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull; Create and maintain the company&amp;rsquo;s risk-based compliance monitoring program&lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull; Liaise with regulators from various jurisdictions and respond to compliance related queries from exchanges and regulators&lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull; Advise business units on corporate legal matters and work with overseas legal counsel and tax advisors on various issues, including litigation, intra-group structuring and contracts&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The successful candidate must be legally qualified and will have gained a number of years Financial Services Compliance experience.  While experience gained in Securities and derivatives trading compliance would be ideal, more important will be you thorough knowledge of the FSA Regulations and Exchange rule s and your ability to influence at all levels.&lt;/p&gt;
