Market Abuse Surveillance

International Investment Bank is now seeking a trade surveillance analyst to join its London based compliance team. The individual will be responsible for supporting the desk-based trade monitoring of commodities, derivatives and transactions, with the responsibility for identifying and investigating suspicious cases.

Key responsibilities
Surveillance of Commodities trade monitoring
Investigations of potentially suspicious trading activity
Development of the desk-based trade monitoring programme
Maintain accurate records of investigations and outcomes

Essential Requirements
Extensive experience in commodities trade surveillance
Understanding of physical and financial commodity trading strategies/activities and the various trading instruments (futures, swaps, options etc)
Sound knowledge of market abuse rules and relevant FSA regulations
Experienced in developing a commodities trade surveillance monitoring plan
