We have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Training Manager, within our Group Risk division at The Royal Bank of Scotland Group. This role is based on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Group Risk is an independent function responsible for ensuring there is an appropriate risk governance framework on a Group wide and divisional basis, and that day-to-day risks are managed effectively within this framework. The management of risk is a fundamental activity which underpins the Group's reputation, performance and future success. Our specialist teams are; Credit Risk, Market and Insurance Risk, Regulatory and Operational Risk, and Risk Infrastructure and Analytics.
RBS manages its compliance risk in a manner which will support the organisation to achieve and maintain its goals of standalone strength and sustainable growth through maintaining market confidence, delivering stable earnings growth, maintaining capital adequacy, and providing efficient access to funding and liquidity.
As Compliance Training Manager, you'll be accountable for delivery of up to ten modules of detailed training. You'll obtain technical content from policy drafters and subject matter experts and turn the information provided into webinar materials using you're own training expertise. Additionally, you'll need to run the initial webinars with the policy drafter as part of a train the trainer roll out and track completion by each of our eleven global divisions
To be successful as Compliance Training Manager, you'll have excellent and up to date knowledge of current webinar and face to face learning interventions and blended learning solutions, ideally those used for delivering Risk & Compliance related training. You'll also have working level knowledge of the rules and regulations governing areas relating to conduct risk (primarily in Europe and US) potentially gained in a compliance advisory role.
