THE COMPANY:

My client is a well regarded European Investment Bank. They are looking for a motivated self starter to oversee and Co-ordinate their Monitoring program in London. The role is a stand alone position currently, but in time could well become a small team.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement and co-ordinate the Regulatory Monitoring Unit's work programme
• Undertake Compliance business reviews
• Liaise with internal and external business partners to ensure any identified weaknesses are rectified in an appropriate manner
• Undertake the development of the Compliance electronic surveillance infrastructure capabilities, to include the review of all relevant output
• To assist with ad-hoc Regulatory Monitoring or other Compliance projects
• To liaise closely with other departments to facilitate the effective delivery of the Regulatory Monitoring Unit's strategy

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Working knowledge of the UK regulatory environment
• Ability to work to short deadlines, analytical and ordered approach, attend to detail
• Solid experience working in a financial services regulatory monitoring or audit environment is essential
