Looking for an AML specialist who has an eye for implementing, updating and improving policies across the business.<br /><br /><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Supports the DMLRO(s) in driving and implementing AML strategies across the Group</li> <li>Supports the DMLRO(s) in reviewing current policies and practices in light of regulatory and legislative changes and makes recommendations for change</li> <li>Identifies, assesses and communicates upstream risk issues to the DMLRO(s) and Group AML function, sponsoring change to ensure the DMLRO(s) area of responsibility remains fit for purpose</li> <li>Contributes to the future integration of fraud and AML policies and procedures</li> <li>Works in close partnership with the DMLRO(s) providing a support function to maintain operational standards</li> <li>Addresses identified weaknesses and recommends mitigating actions</li> <li>Key attendee and contributor at appropriate stakeholder management meetings/governance forum, ensuring DMLRO receives 360 degree visibility</li> <li>Influences convincingly to ensure stakeholders are made aware of and buy into key decisions and changes affecting the business</li> </ul> <p><strong>SKILLS/EXPERIENCE</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Must be able to work independently in the drafting of policies and documents on AML matters</li> <li>Sound knowledge of recent AML regulatory changes and their implications upon a Financial Services or associated industries or government bodies.</li> <li>Widely acknowledged and able to act as technical subject matter expert in AML across the Group</li> <li>Direct experience in turning theoretical policy into practical solutions that are compliant and do not inhibit the business</li> </ul> <p>If you would like to apply for this role or find out more, please apply online or contact Faye Condy at Robert Walters on 0207 509 8133 or faye.condy@robertwalters.com quoting the Job Reference 1108890</p>
