Key Responsibilities will include: Registered at the FSA as the Branch Money Laundering Reporting Officer and is responsible for ensuring the branch meets FSA requirements including the training of staff, independent review of accounts as they are opened etc. <ul> <li>Branch Compliance Officer who is required to review branch procedures and activities to ensure continued compliance under management of the Branch Operations Manager.</li> <li>Undertake compliance monitoring, reviews and producing reports identifying issues arising</li> <li>Strong knowledge of FSA Handbook.</li> <li>Assist with AML, New Account Opening and conducting KYC checks.</li> <li>Provide appropriate training on regulations, rules and laws affecting the firm.</li> <li>Development of compliance policies and procedures.</li> <li>Develop and undertake compliance monitoring and ensure that any issues are documented and escalated appropriately.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with applicable banking rules, regulations, and statutory requirements.</li> <li>The compliance officer will have an excellent working knowledge of commercial banking</li> <li>The compliance officer should have excellent communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels and be able to take initiative, be creative in developing procedures and controls as well as being responsible in applying any requirements as necessary.</li> </ul> Skills and Experience: Ideally the candidate will be fluent in English and French <ul> <li>Experience in a similar role at a small bank</li> <li>Good generalist Compliance background</li> </ul> If you would like to apply for this role or find out more, please apply online or contact Faye Condy at Robert Walters on 0207 509 8133 or faye.condy@robertwalters.com quoting the Job Reference 1095900
